OUR STANDARDS
Editorial policy
First-hand experience
Venue reviews are based on places Zen visited. Articles use her visit notes, captions, voiceovers and recorded orders. We do not invent dishes, service details or personal reactions that were not part of the source experience.
What each guide aims to answer
A useful guide should tell readers what stood out, what Zen ordered or would order again, who the venue suits, how the atmosphere felt and whether the experience is worth considering. Where relevant, it also covers price expectations, bookings, access, parking and nearby ideas.
Fact checking and updates
Addresses, phone numbers, official links, business status and Google ratings are checked against current sources before publication where a confident match is possible. Because menus, prices, ratings and opening hours change, articles state when information was checked and direct readers to the venue for current details.
Historical and closed venues
Older visits may remain available when they add genuine editorial value. Closed businesses, past events and historical experiences are labelled clearly so readers do not mistake an archive for a current recommendation.
Corrections and human review
We correct material errors when identified. A factual update does not rewrite Zen’s original experience; it clarifies what changed. Articles are prepared from Zen’s source material and require editorial review before publication. Feasting With Zen does not automatically publish unreviewed AI-generated recommendations.
