I started Feasting With Zen to make the useful parts of a food recommendation easier to find. I want you to know what stood out, what I would order again, who a venue suits and what to check before you make the trip.

Queensland is home, with Brisbane at the centre of the collection, but food has always shaped the way I travel. The guides also follow genuine visits across Australia and overseas, from Bali to Europe.

How I review places

My articles begin with first-hand visits and the notes, captions or voiceovers created around them. I focus on the dishes, atmosphere, service, value, occasion and practical details that genuinely affected the experience. Current business information is checked separately and dated where it can change.

I do not publish a positive verdict simply because a meal, stay or experience was hosted. Commercial relationships are disclosed clearly, and every recommendation remains my own.

My role

I lead Feasting With Zen as founder and editor. I am also Creative Director at Bridge PR Australia, a separate hospitality communications business. That professional experience informs my understanding of restaurants and storytelling, but it does not change Feasting With Zen’s disclosure standards or editorial independence.
