The site carries a sense of scale and local pride that makes stepping through the gates feel like a proper Queensland experience.

Inside the museum, Queensland spirit history unfolds along massive wooden vat walls and backdrops detailing the origin of the brand. Rotating glass display cases showcase classic bottle designs under lit signs, while expansive backlit shelves hold scores of bottles tracing decades of distillation.
Interactive sensory drums inside the exhibit let you smell distinct elements of the production process, while polar bear signs and display statues pay tribute to the famous mascot. Outside on the grounds, wooden stools stamped with 'BUNDABERG RUM RAISING THE BAR' and barrel stacks spelling out #HOME OF BUNDY set the scene.

For my two choices, I went with the Royal Liqueur Bundaberg Salted Caramel served with a dash of cream, followed by the Master Distillers Collection Small Batch Reserve paired with ginger beer over ice on a dedicated flavor profile mat. Sitting back on wooden barrel tables surrounded by historic brickwork makes for a thoroughly satisfying finish.
