Ice Tea Factory at Rocklea Markets: Fresh Brews and Refill Perks
Ice Tea Factory is a fantastic starting point for a Saturday market run in Rocklea, delivering freshly shaken milk teas, freshly whisked matchas, and a handy discounted refill bottle system.
Every Saturday market run needs a cold brew to set the rhythm, and we kicked ours off right at the Ice Tea Factory stall inside the Rocklea Markets hall. Finding a refreshing drink early makes strolling past the crowded market stalls at 385 Sherwood Road far better, making this colorful stall an ideal starting spot.
I grabbed the brown sugar milk tea with pearls to start, shaken of course, never stirred. Watching the tea base measured out, syrup pumped into the pitcher, and the mix thoroughly shaken in a cocktail shaker before being poured over ice and boba pearls makes for a great rhythm right at the counter.

After placing wooden straws into our wooden tray of cups and clinking drinks together for a quick cheers, we could not leave without taking away a crowd favourite: the lychee, apple, and elderflower iced tea. Carried away in a swing-top glass bottle, it is easy to pour over ice in crystal tumblers once you get home.

Freshly Whisked Matchas and Fruity Infusions
We then moved on to the fruit teas, starting with the pineapple, passionfruit, and coconut iced tea. Ice is scooped straight from a large white cooler before the bright yellow tea is dispensed into the cup and topped with pineapple jellies lifted out using a strainer spoon.
Next came the deep red cranberry and pomegranate iced tea with coconut jelly, which was super refreshing. They also whisk their matcha to order, sifting green powder into a glass pitcher and working it with a traditional bamboo whisk. The strawberry matcha is freshly made with real strawberries, while the taro matcha layers bright green whisked tea directly over frothed purple taro milk.
