At Walter's, where a menu sits beside red wine glasses, a platter of French fries and a cheese board packed with crackers, nuts and dip establish a relaxed grazing rhythm right from the start.

The appeal of this self-guided circuit lies in how quickly the atmosphere shifts between stops. One moment we were sitting in a dining room framed by exposed brick walls, dark leather chairs and seated patrons, and the next we stepped up to Miss Demeanour Laneway Bar past painted wall murals and chalkboard menus.
City Winery Brisbane banners mark another tasting station along a wooden counter, where staff behind liquor-stocked bars poured into our printed stemless glasses. Outside, setting down a wine glass on a street-facing table offered a quiet pause in the CBD before we paused for photos against colourful graffiti murals that captured the city's lively weekend energy.
Producers, Pours and Character Bottles
The wine lineup across the circuit brought distinct regional producers straight into the city centre. From grand bar interiors with central ring light fixtures and Campari displays to playful bottle labels featuring colourful character illustrations, each stop offered a fresh backdrop as part of June's Dine BNE City program.
