Manny's Wine & Fish: Generous Greek Feasting in Burleigh Heads
Manny's Wine & Fish delivers a genuine sense of Greek hospitality with generous shared spreads, energetic open kitchen views, and a Thursday yiros special worth booking ahead for.

Clinking our wine glasses beneath the neon sign at Manny's Wine & Fish in Burleigh Heads set an immediate, easygoing rhythm for the night. There are plenty of Greek spots along the coast, but walking into this space felt far more like being invited into a friend's home for dinner than sitting down at a standard restaurant.
Positioned along the Gold Coast Highway, the dining room looks straight into an open kitchen where you can watch the team prepare every dish right in front of you. That open flame energy and front-row view of the prep bring a genuine warmth to the venue from the second you settle in.
Is Manny’s Wine & Fish worth adding to your itinerary?
The kitchen atmosphere turns up a notch when rotisserie meat spins over open flames for their Thursday night Yiros special. The smoking BBQ lamb yiros arrived packed tight and generously filled, paired with a box of golden, spice-seasoned thick-cut chips that made a compelling case for a midweek outing.

Shared Spreads at the Table
Generosity is central to how we ate here, with portions clearly built to be passed around the table. We started our feast with warm sliced pita dipped into creamy spreads, alongside seared saganaki garnished with fresh herbs and oil, and lightly cured fish brightened with capers, rocket, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Plates of Greek salad and baked feta potatoes added hearty, comforting depth to the middle of the table. Pairing these shared dishes with a glass of Greek Gaia Monograph or Sherrah Nouveau Grenache created the kind of unhurried dinner where conversation flows easily.
Thursday Yiros and Sweet Finishers

The smoking BBQ lamb yiros arrived packed tight and generously filled, paired with a box of golden, spice-seasoned thick-cut chips that made a compelling case for a midweek outing.
Saving room for dessert proved well worth it as the sweet plates arrived. Squares of classic layered baklava were joined by a warm banana honey puff topped with cold ice cream. If you are planning a midweek dinner in Burleigh Heads, come on a Thursday night for the yiros and settle in for a generous feast shared around the table.
