Pacific Pines / Casual Dining
Sandy's Bar & Grill, Pacific Pines
Sandy's Bar & Grill in Pacific Pines delivers generous portions, standout refreshing mocktails, and hearty Mediterranean-style mains in a casual, pet-friendly setting.

A frozen dark red berry mocktail crowned with a dried citrus wheel sets a welcoming scene before the first plate arrives at Sandy's Bar & Grill. Tucked away on Pitcairn Way in Pacific Pines, this local spot quickly makes a case for being one of the Gold Coast's best-value dining options, driven by standout drinks and generous portions.
We stopped by to test a cross-section of the menu, where casual Mediterranean comfort food takes centre stage without any fuss.

Standout Mocktails and Simple Starters
The mocktail lineup hits the mark immediately. The Mixed Berry Daiquiri is cold and slushie-like, while the Virgin Mojito brings a bright lift with fresh mint, lime wedges, and crushed ice over green foliage outdoors.
Starters open simply with slices of cheesy garlic bread, followed by a Greek salad packed with thick feta, cherry tomatoes, olives, cucumber, and crisp greens in a red bowl.
Hearty Mains and a Seasoning Twist
For mains, the vegetarian pasta arrives as a generous bowl of penne coated in rich tomato sauce, tossed with spinach and finished with shredded cheese.
The Greek Lamb Pizza comes topped with lamb, feta, cherry tomatoes, olives, green peppers, and a white drizzle. Although listed as spicy on the menu card, it leans into traditional Greek seasoning with garlic and oregano rather than chilli heat.
Casual Outdoor Dining with Pets
The relaxed outdoor seating makes Sandy's an easy choice for casual catch-ups, complete with pet-friendly tables where dogs are welcome to join.
While the pizza brownie was our least favourite pick of the order, the generous mains and delicious drinks deliver a thoroughly satisfying suburban meal worth saving for your next outing.
