A tea light candle burning beneath a pot of smooth melted chocolate sets an inviting scene for a chilly evening in Brisbane. At Kreative Desserts in Victoria Point, winter nights are built around sweet, shared indulgences, starting with their Family Fondue Platter. Placed at the centre of the table, the pot is surrounded by fresh strawberries, sliced banana, soft marshmallows, fudgy brownie bites, and golden waffle slices.
We stopped by the Victoria Point spot, taking a seat at the outdoor tables to ease into a cool Brisbane evening. Wall signage inside promises "WHAT HAPPINESS TASTES LIKE", and with five locations dotted across Brisbane, it is an easy destination when late-night sweet cravings hit.

We couldn't go past the Kunafa Loaded Strawberry Cup for our individual treat. Served in a clear cup with layers of fresh strawberries and melted chocolate, it comes topped with a golden layer of shredded kunafa pastry and crushed pistachios. Lifting the lid reveals a texturally satisfying combination of fresh fruit, crisp pastry, and rich chocolate.

To beat the winter chill, we ordered from their newly launched viral hot chocolate lineup. Served topped with high swirls of whipped cream, rich dessert sauces, and sweet toppings, the drinks come in Biscoff, Kinder Bueno, and Snickers variations. Each cup offers a rich drink made to warm you up on a cool night.
The Family Fondue Platter ($29.95) brings a fun, interactive feel to the table. Dipping crisp waffle quarters, rich brownie pieces, and ripe fruit directly into the warm chocolate pool makes it a natural pick for sharing with family or friends.
Loaded Strawberry Cups and Cabinet Discoveries

A sign for açaí bowls starting at $12.95 sits nearby, proving there are plenty of options whether you are stopping by for a quick treat or settling in outdoors.
