"Cheers to keeping cool this summer," I said as I slurped down a mango smoothie while my partner had an iced coffee. We were taking a seat at Table 26 in West End, tucked quietly along Duncan Street. Walking up the entrance stairs leads into what feels like a genuine hidden gem tucked right into the neighbourhood.
Inside, white wooden tables and matching chairs are arranged beneath spinning ceiling fans and hanging artificial greenery. Vibrant artificial turf covers the floor right through the order counter and seating areas, giving the venue an easygoing indoor-outdoor atmosphere. Right near the counter, a digital kiosk display features drinks such as the Golden Latte, alongside a sign reminding guests to wait to be seated.

On the savoury side, we chose the Bombay Club Sandwich. Looking closely at all those impressive layers before eating, the sandwich is packed with spicy potato, chaat masala, crisp cucumber, ripe tomato, and green chutney, with a crunchy pappadum served right beside it.

Chilled Drinks and Sweet Breakfast Plates
Both of the dishes we ordered were vegetarian, and each arrived jam-packed full of flavours to match our cold drinks. For a sweet starting plate, we selected the Banana French Toast. Served on a wide grey plate, it is made with thick toasted banana bread topped with tart berry compote, a macadamia crumble, maple syrup, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a fresh mint leaf.

On the savoury side, we chose the Bombay Club Sandwich. Looking closely at all those impressive layers before eating, the sandwich is packed with spicy potato, chaat masala, crisp cucumber, ripe tomato, and green chutney, with a crunchy pappadum served right beside it.
Beyond the food, Table 26 is completely dog-friendly. Pets can curl up comfortably on the green artificial turf floor right beside your table. Signage at the venue even highlights that every third coffee is half price. Tucked away on Duncan Street, it makes for a relaxed West End stop whenever you are craving cool drinks, punchy vegetarian dishes, and a place where your dog is welcome too.
