Arriving at a restaurant with the urge to order one of everything on the menu usually requires a large group, but Tarbouche Mezza Bar in West End solves that problem every Sunday. Their weekly lunch buffet puts an entire spread of traditional Lebanese dishes within reach for $40 per adult.

Slow-Cooked Rice and House Dips
The savoury line features chafing dishes filled with spiced lamb rice paired with pickled cabbage, chicken rice decorated with bell peppers and almonds, and white rice with vermicelli alongside my favourite hashweh beef rice. There are also stuffed cabbage rolls garnished with lemon slices, roasted lemon garlic potato cubes, chicken wings, and kibbeh in yoghurt sauce.
Alongside trays of fried pastries, stuffed vine leaves, and baskets of sliced flatbread, the house dips were my absolute favourites. Generous platters of smooth hummus drizzled with oil and decorated baba ganoush sit next to fresh chopped tabouli, making it easy to build a plate with warm bread and savoury meats.
